TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We want every family to feel clear and confident about how enrolment works at Pathway Mathematics Academy. The terms below explain the key arrangements that apply when your child joins us.

If anything is unclear, please feel free to ask — we are always happy to clarify things before enrolment begins.

1. Enrolling

To enrol, please complete the student registration form and follow the payment instructions we send you.

Our classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six students, so preferred times can fill quickly. Early enrolment is therefore recommended. If your preferred class is full, we will do our best to offer the closest suitable alternative.

Year level placement follows Pathway's internal curriculum benchmarks and may differ from your child's school year group.

2. Fees and payment

Tuition is charged by the term and payment is due by the date shown on your invoice. Your child's place is confirmed once payment has been received.

Current tuition fees, registration and materials fees, and payment arrangements are set out in our Academic & Enrolment Guide, which is provided to families at enrolment.

Our programmes are designed as structured term-based learning programmes. Enrolment therefore secures your child's place in the programme for the full term, rather than purchasing a balance of individual lessons.

3. Absence and catch-up support

We understand that students will occasionally need to miss a lesson. If your child is going to be away, please let us know as early as possible by WeChat, WhatsApp or phone.

The support we provide after an absence depends on the programme structure.

Our Foundations Stage follows a cyclical learning model, while Years 5–10 follow structured five-week modules in which lessons build progressively on one another.

For this reason, the catch-up arrangements are slightly different between stages. Full details are set out in the Academic & Enrolment Guide.

Our aim is always to help students reconnect with their learning as smoothly as possible after an absence.

4. Refunds

Our refund arrangements, including applicable timeframes and the treatment of registration and materials fees, are set out in the Academic & Enrolment Guide.

If Pathway needs to cancel a lesson, we will prioritise arranging a replacement lesson. If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, the affected lesson will be refunded in full.

5. Courses and scheduling

Pathway classes are intentionally small, with a maximum of six students, allowing teachers to provide meaningful individual attention while maintaining a structured group learning environment.

We may need to adjust a timetable or class arrangement where enrolment numbers are not sufficient for a class to run as planned. If this happens, we will communicate with affected families in advance and work with them to find the most suitable available option.

6. The learning environment

We aim to create classrooms that are respectful, supportive and academically purposeful.

If your child is finding the content, pace or class arrangement difficult, please let us know early. Small adjustments made early in the term can often make a meaningful difference to a student's learning experience.

We value open communication between families, teachers and the academy, and encourage parents to raise learning concerns whenever they arise.

7. Unforeseen circumstances

Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control — such as severe weather, public health requirements or similar events — may affect normal class arrangements.

Where this occurs, we will communicate with families as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, provide a suitable alternative arrangement.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms apply once enrolment is confirmed.

Pathway Mathematics Academy may update its enrolment terms from time to time as our programmes and operations develop. Where changes materially affect enrolled families, reasonable prior notice will be provided.
